Color on Kuri's drawing

I just put some colors on Kuri's drawing for a little contest she's hosting on her blog. Go check it out, she's got plenty of good stuff.
This one is a little too Tinkerbell-ish in the end, but, oh well...

And I thought I could show you a few of the steps I went through. So here is in order, the line work by Kuri, a first block out for me to see if I could get anywhere, the greyscale pass, the first color pass, some adjustements, and textures and final tweaks.
